Donavan Jarvis

Student Minister/MBSF Minister

Donavan Jarvis

Bro. Donavan was born August 12,1992 in Mount Pleasant, TX and raised in Omaha, TX. Bro. Donavan accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at the age of 10 years old. He remembers very well that Tuesday night of revival services where Jesus changed his eternity. When he was 15 years old the Lord began convincing Bro. Donavan that he needed to surrender his life to preaching the gospel. Bro. Donavan faithfully served the Lord in his teenage years at his church and in his school. He graduated from Paul Pewitt High School in Omaha, TX.

Upon graduation, Bro. Donavan spent two years studying at East Texas Baptist University. He transferred after two years to continue his education at Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia, AR. He graduated from SAU with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Wildlife Biology, Conservation and Management. He was a vital part of the MBSF ministry at SAU where he served God fervently.

After graduating from SAU he returned to Omaha, Texas. There, he began a career with Best Fender Products and would later work for Imagination Fabrication. Bro. Donavan excelled in both places and was rapidly promoted. In the years after college Bro. Donavan met his wife, Lauren. He and Lauren were married on November 17, 2018. They remained in Omaha, TX until Bro. Donavan surrendered to the calling which God started so many years before. Although he was successful in the fabrication industry, Bro. Donavan knew what God wanted from his life. In August of 2019 he left everything, in the secular work place, behind. He and Lauren moved to Magnolia, AR and joined Calvary Baptist Church where he currently serves as Student Pastor. Bro. Donavan is currently a student at Louisiana Missionary Baptist Institute and Seminary.
